Real Talk: The Hiatus, The Hustle, and The New Journey 👑✨

​What’s up, my creative tribe! Listen, I know the site has been looking a little like a ghost town lately. I’m not even going to hit you with the "I’ve been busy" cliché—even though, chile, your girl has been BUSY.

​If you know me, you know I don’t just "do" crafts; I live a lifestyle that’s 100% DIY and 100% heart. But lately, life decided to throw a few extra projects on my plate that didn't involve a silhouette or a weeding tool.

​The Ultimate Tag-Team: The Sublimation Hustle 👕🔥

​First off, can we get some noise for the Hubby?!! I’ve been deep in the trenches helping him get his sublimation hustle off the ground. You know how it is when you’re a "Craftin’ Ass Girl"—everyone in the house eventually catches the bug! We’ve been tweaking temps, testing ink, and (don't tell him I said this) ruining a few shirts in the process. Seeing his vision come to life has been everything, and being his "Head of Operations" has been a full-time gig in itself.

​From Tutus to Locs: A New Chapter 🩰🌱

​And for my fellow dance moms... y’all already know. We are officially in Dance Recital Season. My living room has been a sea of sequins and leotards, and I’ve been steaming tutus like it’s my Olympic sport.

​But this year is extra special. My baby girl has officially started her Loc Journey! 🕊️ We traded in the detangling brushes and hairspray for rose water, essential oils, and a whole lot of patience. Watching her embrace her natural crown while she’s killing it on the dance floor has been the highlight of my hiatus. It’s a transition for both of us, but the growth (literally and figuratively) is so beautiful to witness.

​Clocking In & Bossing Up 💻

​On top of the home hustle, the "9 to 5" (or 9 to whenever-I’m-done) has been screaming. I’ve been heads-down wrapping up some massive work projects and getting my regular professional routine back on lock. Finding that "work-life-craft" balance is an art form all its own, and I had to take a beat to make sure I wasn't pouring from an empty cup.
